Part 1 for ADIs Hazard Perception Test


You will score 3 at this point

Running Time on the Clip: 02.36 = 3 marks

At this point in time, the front of the car, which is emerging from the junction on the left, has now reached the cycle lane on the major road.

The car which you are taking observations from, is at this stage, at a distance of approximately 3 to 4 car lengths from the hazard.

 


You will score 2 at this point.

Running Time on the Clip: 02.36 = 2 marks

At this point in time, the front wheels of the car emerging from the left, have already crossed the white edge markings along the side of the major road, and the front of this car has now reached a position, where it is blocking the cycle lane on the left. At this same stage, the motorcyclist, has already started to take evasive action, by swerving out towards the right.

The car which you are taking observations from, is at this stage, at a distance of approximately 2 to 3 car lengths from the hazard.
